Shortly after Randy Santel’s monumental 150% challenge, Blackoak Productions was back at KC Finn’s in Jackson, TN, to film another titan of competitive eating: Katina Eats Kilos. This time, the focus was on the formidable standard challenge, and the content we captured brings the excitement of Katina Eats Kilos right to the screen.
The Big Ass Burger Challenge at KC Finn’s
KC Finn’s famous Big Ass Burger Challenge is the original, classic test of will and appetite, a challenge that few “normal people” have ever completed successfully [01:01].
Katina stepped up to face:
- The Burger: A behemoth of 8 half-pound smash patties (4 lbs of fresh beef), stacked high with 16 slices of American cheese [00:14].
- The Sides: A generous one pound of crinkle-cut fries [00:43].
- The Goal: Finish all the food, plus a required drink, in under the 30-minute time limit.
The “Kilo Crew” was out in force, and the energy was palpable. Despite the hot patties and the challenge’s difficulty, Katina pushed through, even dealing with the “lava hot” nature of the smashed patties [03:32].
The Cinematic Victory in Jackson, TN
Katina ultimately crushed the Big Ass Burger Challenge, finishing everything in a lightning-fast 18 minutes and 21 seconds! For her victory, she earned a free meal, a sweet t-shirt, and a coveted spot on the Wall of Fame.
