This past November 22, 2025, the West Tennessee food scene became the backdrop for a major league food challenge. Blackoak Productions had the pleasure of being on location at KC Finn’s in Jackson, TN, to film legendary competitive eater Randy Santel (Atlas) as he returned to take on their infamous challenge, this time, bigger than ever.

The stakes were high and the scale was massive.

The 150% Big Ass Burger Challenge

KC Finn’s owners, Kathy and Charlie, brought back their celebrated food challenge, which Randy Santel first defeated back in 2018. But for his return, Randy faced an unprecedented version: 150% of the original “Big Ass Burger Challenge.”

The build was truly cinematic:

• The Burger: A colossal stack of 12 half-pound smash patties made with fresh, never-frozen beef, topped with 24 slices of American cheese, pushing the total beef weight to over six pounds.
• The Sides: A massive 1.5 pounds of KC Finn’s delicious crinkle-cut fries.
• The Goal: Finish it all in 45 minutes or less.

Randy, wearing his Kilo Crew shirt, powered through the entire 150% challenge in an incredible 24 minutes and 56 seconds, securing his spot once again on the KC Finn’s Wall of Fame. It was a testament to the quality of the food and the sheer scale of the event.
